bought a set of crager ss rims for my 70 mustang the rear tires are p275/60 r15 the front are p215/60 r15 so the cars going to sit high in the back whitch i plan on puttingair bag supenion back there but the rims dont fit the bolt pattern by about 1/4 inch. i plan on taking out the straight 6 and putting a 351 in with a new auto tran so i think i need to replace the rear end could i replace it with maby a bigger bolt pattern same goes with the front.

What did you do?...buy a set of used Chevy wheels? Chevy used 5x4.75" wheels.

you're better off selling the wheels and tires than trying to make the car match the wheels.

Sounds like someone put Chevy running gear under that old Ford coupe.

I know it was a good deal, but you'll spend a heck of a lot more trying to modify the Mustang to put Chevy bolt patterns on it.

Sell the wheels and get some with 5x4.5" bolt pattern.
