Default Seam Sealer

Can I get aseam sealer locally at like autozone, walmart, lowes, etc. or do I have to order some online? Would some other sealer besides brand "seam sealer" work all the same? Thanks

No, walmart, autozone advanced auto parts etc dont carry it, I was on a hunt for some last weekend and checked all those stores, Napa is the only place I found it locally. If you want to order it online eastwood is your best bet.

Well, I ran down to the local napa, and the guy said they just quit stocking it, he recomended another place in town, so went there and they were closed. Guess i'll call around next time. Is there any type of caulking you can buy at lowes, home depot, etc.. that does the same job?

I used a roof sealer called 'Black Jack' in a pinch. I think I got it a Home Depot.

OOh, that black crap is ugly and takes a long time to cure. Get some real seam seal from just about any Mustang vendor.

Hey Glen, You are supposed to apply Black Jack to the car, not your fingers - however I said in a pinch.

Yeah Jim in a pinch the tar crap you put on a roof would suffice, but real seam seal is preferred.

I do have POR15 as well, but is it still recommended to seam seal first, or will the POR15 suffice?
