Fitting a Din-styled modern radio into a 67 Radio Bezel isnt possible unless you hog out the center. Many people believe that its hard and time consuming. I did this in 15 minutes and with minimal tools. If you have done the same thing lets see it! BTW this pic was taken with a cell phone, sorry for the crappy resolution. So wat did you do? explain your process. Did you still have to chop up the dash or no? From that pic it looks like its a peice hanging below the dash but I can't be sure

You can buy kits for it but its kind of expensive OR you can just carefully dremel it out.....

Eh, I'm lazy. I just bought a pre-fit bezel. Don't know why I didn't put my face plat in that picture. Should be installed by the end of June

 

pssh, aftermarket black plastic stock radio bezel for 69/70, $34

DIN black plastic ready for new CD player for 69/70, $340

im taking my chances with a replacement and a dremel

 

All i did was use a dremel to cut it out... and shaped to the DIN box.

 

exactly, no need to spend a couple hundred bucks on something you can make in 15 minutes

 

ive done that before...but i was cutting metal on my old dodge truck so it took a bit longer than 15 min. its still pretty easy to do though.
