Default Introduction

Hello all,
I live in Shelley ID and I have been into mustangs for 15 years. First was a 77 Mustang II hatchback 302 auto, next was a 69 Grande. In 1994 I got the 73 Sportroof. Now addicted to Mustangs I went a little crazy and in 95 I got a 76 Cobra II and a 71 coupe. In 96 money tightened up and got a cheap 85 2.3 liter for gas mileage. 1999 money was better and started on the 73 again and then it siezed a cam bearing. I lost intrest for a while and sold the Cobra II, the 85 was lost in a wreck and the trans went out in the 77 so I just hauled it off. Now down to 3 Mustangs and lost intrest. 2001 I started my own business and had no time for anything. 2003 everything going good and decide to start on the 73 again so I rebuilt the interior. Went from the original deluxe ginger to the black and silver Mach 1. 2004 I got busy with other things and it just sat in the garage again.

2007 this time I am getting the engine running so I can drive it again. I am planning on selling the 71 and keeping the 69 for a later project. Money from the 71 will help finance the 73. This time it will get finnished.

One more thing, out in the pasture is my 1976 Bronco Ranger with 302 auto PS PB and a 3" lift and 33" tires. One more project I want to complete! Wish me luck.

Thanks. The 73 goes in for engine rebuild on May 31st.I'm getting excited since I haven't driven it since 1999. It still needs paint but I will do that in the winter so I can enjoy it this summer.

The pipes were on it when I bought it in 1994. I have a hard time taking them off because the get so much attention. They definatly have a distinctive rumble with the headers. By the way it's a 2v Cleveland with an FMX. My 71 has a 351C 4v and a C6. My 69 Grande has a 302 and C4.

I see you are heavily into the classics and have a lot of knowledge. Welcome brother. Now, get a bucket, put some carwash liquid in it and wash that sucker.
