Default Colors

I can't seem to find anywhere what colors came paired together. Like Wimbeldon White with Red Interior. I want to know what came with the acapulco blue.

So close but no cigar! I actually have a collection of interior and covertible top swatches that I bought one day as an impulse off of Ebay. Unfortunately it only covers all the Ford models of 1970. There isn't a combo for Alcapulco blue in 1970. I'd like to add however, that options weren't the same back then as they are today. You could practically get anything you wished in 1969. For example I have a publicity photo of a 1970 Boss 302 in Medium Lime metallic exterior and the interior is Crimson Red! Yikes! I'd say in your case, white, blue and black would be the interior colors of choice for Alcapulco Blue.

BTW according to my swatch charts, if you had a 1970 in Medium Blue metallic, your interior color options were BA=Black Vinyl, BB= Blue Vinyl,
and BW= White Vinyl. Same goes for Pastel Blue exterior.

Hello. That would depend on what year model car you have. Bodyputtyless has the 70 swatches, I have 60 through 68. As long as you don't have a 69 model car, you're good to go here.

I have a 67 and Ive been working hard on deciding what color to paint her. I originally wanted a silverish color but scratched that idea because there are a couple silver colored cars around town, then decided to keep it original (wimbeldon white + red), but now I want the Acapulco Blue. The problem? Interior colors. I loath black, white will show any stain, and personally I think blue on blue is horrible. I think Im going to go with my original choice of a silver color with red interior.

Per an old restoration guide I have, Acapulco Blue was available with Black, Blue or Parchement interior trim colors.

Hi again. The Acapulco blue with saddle interior looks really, really nice. Not the dark saddle but the lighter one. That is a very nice package. There's a guy around here that has a 68 GT-500KR convertible that is Acapulco blue with saddle, and that thing is real sharp.

I wish I could see some pictures. A friend showed me the above site for interior colors, and the saddle is what I thought would look good with the Acapulco blue.
