why wouldnt you do it on the rotisserie?
the car will be clear of all parts in the way including brake lines, drive shafts and everthing else off the firewall - easier to get at i think

Yes it would be easier on the rotisserie, but my concern is removing the bigest strutual part of the car and stressing it in ways that may basicly fold the car. And yes I will brace the door openings.

Did you build the rotissere yourself? How much did it cost? I found some plans online and they said total cost is about $100 for materials. I had a neighbour who works at a steel place give me a quote and they wanted $750-$1000.

I remember seeing some pictures of people who had the car up on the rotissere while they took the floor out. Just make sure the entire frame of the car is supported. And why are you doing the full floor pan? After the headache I went through I would recommened doing the halves.

I haven't built the rotisserie yet I just got the plans which look pretty good. I can get all the steel for nothing so cost should be pretty low. I want the full pans for less seams and the half don't have the trans tunnel. I may put subframe connecters on first but that would mean changing 2 frame rails before that right rear and left front anlong with front right floor suport. When I finish the sheet metal the only parts that I'm reusing and the rest of the frame rails, roof, and both fender aprons.

If your still worried you can tack weld some beams across then remove the floor.

I was hoping since my neighbour works with steel he could get me some stuff cheap or at no cost...doesn't seem to be the case.
