Or, you could put on some of those itty bitty tires the Tejanos run.

So if the pen fits vertically, it's okay? This would indicate available travel up and down when driving straight for sure, but how about when turning and hitting bumps? Check for rub marks on the tires and fenders, if they occur, something has to be changed to prevent damage...

well as long as american pony gave me the right springs then yes i got it the right ones the label even said they were 67 springs, but i dont know if it was a mistake or if they are just too light for the cleveland.
They aren't too light...I run 620 drop springs on my 65 with a 351c...the cleveland isn't that much more heavy than any other motor. How about posting up a picture or three and supplying more detail on the tire sizes you have on the car.
American pony....are they associated with Canadian Mustang? Just because you order parts doesn't mean they are the right ones...I ordered under riders from Canadian Mustang once....part number was right, stamping was right, but it was the wrong part...I ended up modifying them myself to get them to work.

Make sure your shocks arent releasing air. I had a problem with my rear end dropping due to my rear shocks busting and shooting out air everytime i hit a bump. Unfortuantly my tires are wider than factory and i cut them up pretty badly until i replaced new shocks =/
Check to see if shocks leak air, if they do...then thats youre problem.

ok well I have not driven the car since i got it and the shocks are brand new, i go tthem when i go thte springs. I am going to try some regular small blcok springs and see if that helps at all.
