Default too good to be true?

I was looking around on ebay motors and this 1969 fast back jumped out at me.click here to see it It looks great, and they only want $9500.

Then I found this 68 fastback in great condition that they're only asking $5900 for. click here to see it

These 2 cars have got to be scams. I won't get into why I think that, because I don't want to tip off the seller and allow him to learn how to do a better scam, but buyer beware on these two cars. And don't send them any $$$ unless you can put your hand on the carbefore you buy it.

If it seems to good to be true, then it probably is. And these two listings have enough suspiciousthings in them that they'reunlikely to be anexception to the rule.

BTW: if I'm wrong, and one of you guys is the seller, then I appologize. To make it up to you, I will glady buy each of those cars for those prices listed(after I see them)

a while ago we were looking at cars that would normally go for like 80g's on ebay... my brother researched and found they swiped pictures from some high end car sale place in AZ and stole the description... they also wanted $3,000 in paypal before you see the car... and in the pictures the car was near the desert with trees and plants that weren't found on the east coast like their selling area stated.... beware!

The 69 is gone, the 68 is closed, no more bids. The 68 seller has a good history so I would think that the car is legitimate and they were looking for a bidding war. Note: no VIN or vehicle location.

ok people,

there are 3 give aways this is a scam

#1 price of the car, he could sell it for 4 times as much in a day or too if it was legit
#2 does not offer vin or any other info to show proof of actually having the car
#3 and most important.... he does not want you to contact him thru ebay, he lists his email and gives an excuse he used his work email. This account has 3000+ transaction it is obvious the account is legit , but it might have been hacked ! ! !

This has been going on since Ebay started. It seems easy enough to hack someone's account and use that to scam the public. I just refuse to buy an automobile off of Ebay.

Oh, I have bought and sold low dollar things on Ebay, but not a car that I haven't driven.

if you buy a car test it first my dad brought a 2005 jag of ebay from germany and that was as described mind u he did fly over to test it. I know some guy who brought a 68 firebird vert of ebay and only saw it when it arrived and is good for the price.
