Default Restomod Question

I have a 68 Mustangthat I've torn down to build back up as a restomod. I would like to put a 5.0 and a T5 tranny into it. I found a 94 Mustang GT 5.0 HO and would like to use that as a donor car, but I don't know if that car is too new, or if that motor and tranny will work???
