Lo Horn Doesn't Work
I have a '66 Mustang Fastback (289 V8/AT). My Lo horn is dead, only my Hi horn works. I'm looking to replace it. Should I replace both of them with new ones? Only replace the Lo one? or have the Lo one fixed (if possible) to keep all original? Please advise, thank you.
In general, no repair is possible (except for an adjustment) on your horn. Reproduction ones are available (Virginia Classic $29.95) and if you can find a local Mustang shop, they may be able to help you from their 'stock' or give you a lead on a good junk yard.

Glen (Soaring) in a different post said he would not buy a car on e-bay - without seeing it up close and personal. But now he says to buy a horn on e-bay - without 'hearing' it. For what it's worth, I would go to a Mustang shop or junk yard, with a short jumper wire, and test a prospective horn before I bought it. Well, son of a gun, that's what I did when I got replacement horns - tested them before I bought them.
