WES T1 = Axle model
85A - Year, month, week. Built the first week of May in 1968
275 - 275.1 Gear ratio. Man, what a highway rear that would be, but around town?
9 - Ring gear diameter
951A - Plant coding.

That is a 2.75:1 ratio 9 inch conventional rear axle used on a 1970 and 72 vehicle. The 9 951A are supposed to give you the year, month and week but your spacing makes it difficult to make out.

Golly gee uncle Glen, after two Mai-tais, I can still read: Ford Car Parts, Section 40, Page 5, type WES-T1 used on 70 and 72, a WES-T2 used on 71. I don't make the rules.

Typical Ford, document one way and do another. The format is supposed to be:
-First line WES-T1 (revision)
-Second line 2.75 (date code - formated as '9A3' year, month, week) (plant code '123')
Not unusual.
