Just wanting to see the opinions of the members. About their favorite type of stang

 

Its a classic mustang forum....nuf said.

 

Depends on what you want it for. The classic ones look nicer, but the new ones are faster, safer, and more comfortable.

 

I've owned one of just about every single era (5 in total) and I can say that the classics are the best. I really like the fox bodies too. But IMO, all other mustangs are very distant runner's-ups.

These days I'm down to only 2. I'm not a huge fan of my 2005. At the same time, I can't picture ever selling my 1965.

Plus, the classics getcooler and more rareeach year, while the new ones just get old and loose value.

Lumbergh, the new ones may be safer and more comfortable, but there's plenty here that are faster!

 

I would even say they're more comfortable. ( I won't argue with "safer" though )

 

Of course the new ones are faster, safer, more comfortable, but they lack nostalgia, coolness, and there are more of them...on a classic, you KNOW you are driving a real car, lol.

It's a no-brainer for me, ol' school all the way, classics by a mile.

 

Ok first you asked, "which one is the best"

then you ask "which one is your favorite"

those are two completely differant questions.

 

the older ones can be made faster handle great and brake better it all depends on your wallet

 

The classic Mustang is by far the more significant, and it has more 'character'. The new ones are nice - but maybe a little too nice and too refined. A comparison that's a little like the NASCAR drivers of the 50's/60's vs today.
