hi all,I have recently found a 1955 ford fairlane, the car isn't original so i wanted to get some input from you guys, if i get the car, shouldI try to make it a custom or a gasser. When i say gasser I mean all the way, candy paint, tilt front, high suspension, blown big-block ford, drag seats, colored windows, big rubber out back, all the things that mad the gassers infamous

I did, and that's the first thing I thought.

 

I would go custom, but that's just the way my taste leans...

 

I like the gasser look myself.... When I see one at a show I will passeverythingto check it out. Then start looking at the other stuff.....

 

I know what you mean, there is only one other car that i have seen that i went to first before the classic gassers and the was Don "Big Daddy" Garlits funny car, he was at a show in my town last year!!!!!

 

only gassers i really like are 41 ******

 

well if you saw the last episode of wrecks to riches then you would change your mind, that body style of a car was just beautiful in the way it was exicuted

 

i would build one and drive it but not daily drive it

 

The 1955 Ford Crown Victoria is one of the most beautiful body styles that Ford ever built. Why not get some other ugly car to make into a gasser and leave the 55 alone? It's a piece of history.
