Default 66 Mustang/70 Maverick Interchange

I have a 66 Mustang with a 6 cylinder and auto trans that I will eventually be converting to a 5.0/T5. In the meantime, I have the opportunity to buy a 70 Maverick with a 6 cylinder and a 3-speed cheap. Can anyone tell me what will interchange between the Mustang and the Maverick? Flywheel, trans, bellhousing, shifter, rear axle, clutch linkage? Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Importsmasher

In case I wasn't clear above, I would like to convert the existing 6 cylinder to a stick shift, using the Maverick parts if possible.
Thanks, Importsmasher

see which tranny is in the maverick and see if it was used in a mustang. how cheap is it. honestly you can get a wrecked fox body for about 500 bucks depending the year how hard its hit and where you live

Thanks, Andrewmp6. I already have the 5.0 and the T5, but there is a lot more I need to do the swap, so it won't be happening too soon. In the meantime, my wife would like to have a stick shift, so I was thinking of this swap. I can probably get the Maverick for $200.
