Default backup lights not working

I can not seem to locate the backup light switch on an automatic transmission to my 68 coupe. Bulbs are good, just no power back to lamps. Is switch on transmission itself? Also, all of my fuses are good, but no back up light fuse is listed. Do they share a fuse with some other lights?dw

The switch is near the rear of my manual tranny. The reverse linkage has to turn it on and off, so just check the linkage on the tranny and see if you can locate it. The switch itself is pretty expensive.

On an automatic transmission, the back-up lights switch is part of the neutral start safety switch. It is on the left hand side of the transmission and costs about $31.00 (NPD 2007 Pg105). Wiring comes up to afour pin connector in the engine compartment to the right of the master cylinder.
