Traction bars. Any ideas? I'm on a budget and getting alotta wheel hop.

Slide-A-links...That's what I use.....If you want a set of slaper bars I'll give you a set.....

 

Slapper bars?

 

The old style traction bars you see on out dated cars.They slap up against the bottom of the car when you floor it..

I don't want anything for them...Remember I live in Canada, I'll find out the shipping and get back to you...

 

If you are on a real tight budget David, those slappers are better than nothing, but will drive you crazy every time you gun it at a stand still.

 

Have you considered underrider traction bars?

Slapper bars if set right, shouldn't slap. The stop bumper should be just touching the chassis if they're set up properly, like mine are. You never know they're there and they work very well. But the slide-a-links are better. The guy I do part time work for has the slide-a-links on his Camaro and it runs into the low 9's without any issues
