Traction bars. Any ideas? I'm on a budget and getting alotta wheel hop.

The old style traction bars you see on out dated cars.They slap up against the bottom of the car when you floor it..

If you are on a real tight budget David, those slappers are better than nothing, but will drive you crazy every time you gun it at a stand still.

Slapper bars if set right, shouldn't slap. The stop bumper should be just touching the chassis if they're set up properly, like mine are. You never know they're there and they work very well. But the slide-a-links are better. The guy I do part time work for has the slide-a-links on his Camaro and it runs into the low 9's without any issues
