How can i get more hp from my inline 6 without buying a new engine? Or would it be better to buy a 289?

Inline 6's came with what 120 stock HP? Don't sweat investing alot of money into a v6 if power is what you want, they are pretty rare now and you might be able to get a good bit of money to invest back into a solid v8 project...Is it your daily driver?

I wonder how much HP that thing makes? I can't remember what they done in the 60's to make them run (serious head work I think) but I know a lot of tracks banned them because they were spanking the V-8's. Bad for bussiness.

No it is not my daily driver, just weekend. Also it has been boared out 40.

depends on how much hp and torque you looking for over 200na will be hard. most people swap in a smallblock there cheaper to make power with good luck.
