Default Tomorrow we dance!

Well, tomorrow is the big day.
I have removed the passenger floorboard from the seat mount forward.
I have removed all surface rust and applied weld through primer.
I have barrowed a lincon mig (with gas) welder from work.
I have purchased .025 wire and tips (Lincon L-56 wire)

I hope to teach myself how to weld, and install my floor pans over the next 2 weeks....
(I have 2 weeks off of work)

Any last words before I plunge head first into this project?

practice, practice, practice.

you DO know what your looking for in a good weld right? slight penetration, you dont want it all just building up on top of the metal - but at the same time you dont wanna be blowing thru the stuff and making swiss cheese either

When welding thiner metal 90% of the time the job will take is waiting for the metal to cool between welds.
