Who is paying for the paint though? Both colors would probably look fine, but if you're not paying for the paint then just let him decide.

 

hey fast65, like i said before the paint job is free my uncle is painting the car and buying all suppplies, he has his own body shop, it's just that my dad thinks that we should paint it kandy hot rod red and i want to paint it this gorgous metallic jade black

 

Ask your uncle for his input on the topic then. If he's a body shop guy then he'll know what color would look best on it.

The better the body the darker the color. If you have a perfect job on the body then, hell ya black...If it's not perfect then you will want a lighter color...

 

flip a coin they would both look good. course I would go for black.
