I'm nota huge mustang fan I must admitt butI reallydo like the shape of that model despite how badly it has been treated... could anyone fill me in?

It's either that modelor a dodge charger, so convince me [8D]

1965 coupe, they are pretty easy to find and you can get one for a lot less than any dodge charger you will find, they are great platforms to build off of too, check out some 1966's coupes too, and maybe some 1965-66 fastbacks, you might like them even more

 

I don't think your right, because the rear end of all the 1965 coupes look like this:

 

someone has put in custom tail lights and painted the bumper and put on a different trunk lid.

 

Yeah they have put custom quarter panels, custom front fenders, and front bumper.

 

Any ideas which lid has been used? I guess the rear quarter pannels have been modified as well to suit the profile of the new lid?

My girl friend saw this and wondered what model it was based on(gotta keep her happy if i'm going to get a mustang!):
