new radiator, still hot?
i just bought a 2 core (1 inch) aluminum radiator from Northern, also a shroud/electric fan (14 inch 1550 cfm) combo that bolts directly to the radiator. It held pretty steady at 190 degrees while it was around 91 outside today. Is that a normal operating temperature?
also, can i adjust timing to lower the temperature? Which direction and how much?

have you installed a filter?
alum rads are difficult to impossible to clean out once blocked, so if you swapped out a conventional radiator for alum because it was clogged, you can destroy the new alum radiator in a matter of a few hundred miles.
