Where you are located? South Shores, an area on the south side of the Palos Verdes peninsula How many kids do you have? Four What is your shoe size? 11
At the risk of marketing vultures, I like the camaraderie that forms on hobbyist board such as this. While most of us will never meet, almost all of my "Jeep friends" that I go wheeling with have been met online on boards such as this. Prior to this poll, I thought the members to be much younger as a whole than than they are.

Wow, market research based on a forum thread. I kinda like these questions (Your age compared to your car), I think its interesting. I be sure to keep my shoe size a secret.

Jeff,
You're right about the comradeship (your word ain't) but I use the personal message feature to do that and the forum for Mustang operations, fixes and recomendations. (My shoe size is 12.)

People can see what age I am. Im alright with that. I am only 18 and I own a 69 and a 70. That barelyputs me in the20 years older category. I love hearing the history about these cars from their prime. Makes driving them all the sweater. I feel like Im restoring someones beauty. If only I could find them and show them what their car has become.

I love oddball conspiracies and the result of this so called 'poll' fit the bill. Some unscrupulous Madison Avenue Advertising typecould take the results of this poll and taylor the advertisements that flash on this forum to fit the age demographics. What will be next? Where you are located? How many kids do you have? What is your shoe size?
Stick to blown head gaskets or which intake manifold is best. That's what this forum is for.
Jim
Then let's stuff some more 10 - 19 yearsolder than your carand 20+ votes into this. Mad Av has pretty much written us off from the mainstream anyway,so I wouldn't mind helping to skew some statistic or other.

You know you're getting up there when the 47 you speak of is the year you were born in instead of your age. Last I checked, Glen still has the 20+ slot all to himself, but not by much.

I remember a few years ago there was a gentlemen that was a few years older than I. I haven't heard from him in a long time, so I guess I am the oldest at this present time.

All advertisement is based on demographics,,,

I find the "retirement/investment" television adds directed at older "baby boomers" particularly humorous,,,,

The whole thing is funny to me,,,, "hip" 60s music playing in the background, with a bunch of 50ish 60ish people scripted to look "cool"......

I am surprised the ad companies don't have the actors wearing tie dye.....

It embarrasses me and I am not quite old enough to meet their target demographic yet...

My car is 4 years older than me, and I wear a size 11.5, I have 2.5 children (counting the dog as .5) and my son will be driving on a permit as soon as he takes his test.

ca·ma·ra·der·ie (kä'mə-rä'də-rē, käm'rä'də-rē) Pronunciation Key
n. Goodwill and lighthearted rapport between or among friends; comradeship.

Did I misuse the word camaraderie in my original post? I looked it up and I don't see the error. [sm=icon_guiness.gif]
