Gt?
not true as you have factory GT dealer GT and now GT clones so the vin indicates GTness check the FAQ for the full details basically it has to be an A code or K code for 65-66 but not all A are GTs
there are several websites that provides information on how to check that out http://www.karmustang.com/factory_gts.phpis one
I believe there are also some links in the FAQ section ... and as far as I know the vin will not tell you whether or not it was a GT - the only thing you will now is whether you have a A,K or C code ... to be a true GT parts of the requirements is A or K code engine

On a 67 on up Mustang, a Marti report will confirm the validity of a GT. For 65 and 66 Mustangs, there are only three ways to comfirm a factory GT, a window sticker, a build sheetor, on Dearborn and Metuchen cars, a buck tag. There are more ways to tell if a car is not a GT than to tell if one is.
