I don't really want it, but I think the jerk who parks next to me at work should get it so that he'll stop dinging my doors up.

 

It looks nifty, but even though it goes pretty fast, I'll bet it feels like an eternity if you're inside the car waiting to get out.

And what happens if the battery dies? Or if you're out somewhere and the door malfunctions? Is its fail mode up or down? They'd both suck one way or another.

LOL yeah, five pt oh, you do have a point about there being no more door dings if everyone had these!

Kudos to whoever designed it and made it work at all, but I wouldn't want it on any of my cars. No siree. I like my good old fashioned handles and hinges, thank you!

Battery? What battery? By the time those type of inventions hit the street there won't be any batteries. Just solar and wind powered cars.
