If you have a specific chunk of chrome you would like to remove, let us see a picture. There are lots of different ways Henry F's people attached the trim.

You didn't say what year but it looks like a 67 or 68, so get the Mustang Body Assembly Manual (NPD $16) and see how Ford assembled the car and reverse the procedure. The manual also make re-assembly easier.

Here is the last shot of Ol'Yeller before she goes to the body shop tomorrow. I spent most of the day taking off all the chrome and valance to save a few bucks of labor the body shop would charge at about a zillion dollars an hour. By the time you guys get here for MOCA, Ol' Yeller will be standing tall.

Hope things go well Glen, my son and I are pushing as hard as we can to have a running car for MCOA.... Between work load, other comitments, and a distant funeral, we are having a hard time,,, if things go well and I get a chance to go home early a few days I thinkwe can make it.... We have lots of loose ends to take care of...

I will keep you updated....

Taking off the trim is easier than it seems. I stripped my whole car front to back and inside (minus drivetrain) in just a few days. Sean W, PM if you want some tips, I'm sure I can be of some help.

Good luck at the bodyshop Glen, I'm sure she'll come out great. How much of it is damaged and needs a repaint? Looks like only the quarter panel needs to be sprayed, but how much do they have to do to blend it properly?

Yeah, that's the deal. They have to blend it, so that's why I took all that chrome off. I haven't done much body work, so am having some fun tearing stuff off. I can rip an engine apart and put it back together in my sleep, but am learning this body work stuff. Kinda fun...........
