Default WEIRD CLUTCH ISSUES

OK SINCE GETTING THE 67 last week i have been driving it every day,

now i went to pick up my 94 honda and when i got in it and pushed the clutch in the first thing that went thru my mind was what the hell the clutch is broken, but then after pumping it i realized its just not as stiff as the mustang clutch with the z bar,

sooooo now i want a softer clutch for the mustang , what is better cable or hydraulic and whats an easy swap

i am running 351 w with t5 using the 4 spd bell housing and adapter plate

i can go to a standard to bell housing if i get the cable or hydraulic

thanks

I have cable in my 03 Mach and my clutch pedal is stffer than......well, you get the point. My 65 is much softer. Based on mine, I wouldn't go cable. Maybe hydraulic if that is a possibility.

My hydraulic is very stiff. But I have a dual Ram clutch, so I cannot really help.

I'm in that same situation with my beefed up clutch too. My nephew had me put something cabe-wise on his 02 GT that relieved the pressure of the clutch being so tight. I can't remember the name of it, but it did work. He can adjust the pressure from the engine firewall side.

Actually the spring under the dash that is attached to the clutch pedal is the one that helps you soften the pedal push.

Nah, I told him to return those 410s and get his money back. He already has the 323's which is enough for his teenage ***.
