ok so i have two things, one i have a 69 mustang coupe and under the doors there are a line of holes like something was bolted on there does any one know what that is, and since something did go there it got me thinking, how do you attach emblems and lettering

Might be the sill plate, that's all I can think that's close to being under the door and has a line of holes.

 

Under the door on the body, maybe a sill plate. On actual door, maybe drain holes for the doors??? Pics???

 

Emblems have barrel nuts which attach from the underside..Are the holes visible when door is shut cuz if so its not for sill plates.

 

not sure if the 69s had it but mine has holes for the rocker panel trim. is that what your talking about?

 

Mine has the rocker pannel trim,, Its just a piece of chrome the runs from wheel well to wheel well on the rocker pannel.. Thats probably what your looking at..
