I found a full front disk break kit for sale from a guy across town. He wants only a $100 for everything, the only problem is that it is off a 67 Ranchero will that fit on my 66 coupe?
It may, if it's a four puck caliper type. At that price, I wouuld not be surprised if you need the calipers rebuiltand will need new rotors and hoses. That's about $400 to $500. However, the attaching brackets and proportioning valve may make it worthwhile.

The caliper has four pistons, two on each side as opposed to the floating caliper that has one. Look at NPD http://www.npdlink.com/under p/n 2B120-2B for the four piston type and p/n 2B120-3A for a single.

Here is a link to a conversion kit I think is reasonably priced and is a grenada basis. I ordered it with the "power brake upgrade" which includes the new brake pedal and booster etc. The kit shown is $545 and the upgrade is $250 or 275. With upgrade and delivery it was still under $900. It should be here tomorrow!
It won't fit and if it's rusty, it won't sell. If you don't wheel and deal on e-bay - pass.

If it is a 4-piston caliper with the mounting bracket that bolts to the spindle why would it not fit? Is the bolt spacing on a 4-piston Fairlane bracket different from a Mustang? If the bracket will mount to the spindle the only other problem would seem to be bearings and seals and so long as you have the inside and outside measurements that wouldn't be difficult to overcome.
