i need a new intake manifold

well my cars in the shop and they called me and said there was a problem with the intake manifold they got me a cast iron one for me for free but wut kind should i get?

no its not realy stock its bord out new rocker arms pand pistons my old one was a edebrock r they the best?

Whoa, settle down cheetah. That's a HUGE manifold. Look at the rpm range, 4,500-8,500rpm. I'm willing to bet you're not spinning your engine to over 8,000rpm. That big boy is for racing, or a very VERY well thought out street build(I have seen on occasion people run single planes on the street, but everything MUST be setup and parts selected just right for it to work, and they are RARELY daily drivers) Something like this http://holley.com/7282.aspwould work much better. Or an Edelbrock Performer, or a Performer RPM if you have the right gearing and cam etc.

well sumtimes im over 8000 rpm u just ask the cop that pulled me over for going 115

If it's a race 390 and you really do turn 8k rpm then that manifold will work, but you put it on a street 390 and it'll be a dog
