question: whats the easiest way to get out the rest of the underlayment from the floor panels?

progress so far...

a good 6-8 hours of work spread out a full week.

Elbow grease, putty knife, wire wheel on your drill....

And I thought mine looked bad. Ouch. Don't worry, it can only get better from here. Enginers back then must have been a little wacked.

Engineer 1: How can we mount the AC pump?
Engineer 2: Lets bolt it to the back of the motor.

Engineer 1: But it needs to be on the front of the motor.
Engineer 2: Right!

Engineer 1: Are you smokin crack again?

67 that sound deading i use a heatgun and a putty knife its slow and smelly but works.

I would say a nice drill with a few wire brush ends and a bit of time. Too bad there is no wire brush for a DA.

Well said, especially the wire wheel on the drill bit. I also recomend ear phones - your choice of sounds.

i agree just got mine back and it was well worth it. it looked a hell of alot like yours
