Default frame dimensions? major reconstruction

I've been thinking of getting started finally on my 69 fastback. Problem is , it needs MAJOR reconstroction. I will be replacing pretty much everything from the cowl/ roofline down. My question is, where can I find accurate dimensions for putting it back together? Does the big shop manual have these dimensions?

you best bet is to find another 67 and get ALL your dimensions off of that car, me and my dad just did the exact same operation on a 66

we put the front clip together then fitted it up to the firewall, it turned out great

why does the front end need rebuilding?

I'm sure the 1969 Shop Manual has frame dimensions but not all the other dimensions you think you might need. Most frame and body shops start with the frame and rebuild from there. What you are attempting to do is not something a body shop is prepared to do without a lot of money. A known good car for reference is your best bet.

I'm planning on doing the work myself, no take it to a body shop. I was just looking for a good reference source to get everything where it should be the first time. I heard the shop manual has the dimensions but I wanted to know for sure how complete they were before spending the money for the book that I may not need
