Default '70 Wiring Harness

Hey,

I bought a 1970 Mach I clone, and even though I'm not thrilled about the "clone" part, I'm kind of stuck. Anyway, I need a under dash harness that will work with a Mach I dash (no tach). I think the Part Number is DOZB-14401-CK (even though I do not have AC). I have searched high and low but can't find anything. I can't afford to replace the instrument cluster so I guess I have to get the Mach I harness (right?) Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

I've tried CJ with no luck...plus I searched the web last night for hours. I also am wondering what problems I will run into since it is a clone and only has the Mach I intrument cluster and grille lights. To complicate it even more, it has an MSD ignition system installed.

When I was looking for part of theunderhood harness for my '69, Painless was the only place that had them and you had to buy the whole harness. Have you looked at them?

Painless Performance is the defacto aftermarket wiring company for old cars. They are great! The only problem is I think you have to buy to complete car kit. You may need to call them if you just need a particular harness.

I have not heard of http://www.ronfranciswiring.com/. I will check them out.

NPD also has a lot of wiring harnesses. Unfortunately, it does not look like they have the Main Dash harness for 69 and 70s.

YearOne also has a number of harness. Check them out www.yearone.com.

Everyone - Thanks a million! I still haven't found a complete harness like I need/want - BUT - I now know my options: Take the two old harnesses I currently have an try to make one that works - OR - buy a "kit" - OR - keep searching. Thanks again!!
