So the insurance company towed away my poor '68 on monday, its going into some insurance auto auction thing. So I dont know. With the money I got from the insurance company, I decided to buy a '66 mustang. So this is a picture from the ad I'll take some later tomorrow ...

You might try bending the tabs a bit. A better solution is a set of Styled Steel Wheels (hint).

they are the metal wire wheels, haha I would love to get those styled steelwheels but its a I6 so i'd have to upgrade to 5 lug.... unless they make a four lug version... do they?

i dont think they make a 4 lug, but you never know these days.

Jim is right about bending the tabs out carefully. It isnt hard to do. you want the capsto be fairly hard to get on (and hence harder to get off)

Not trying to be nosey, but I take it your 68 was totalled in an accident and you bought a 66 with the insurance money.

Did you have collectors insurance or "regular" insurance?

I was just wondering if you had collectors insurance, did you have any problems with them paying out?
Did they give you a fair price?
I have collectors insurance-when I firsted got the insurance a year ago,the car was valued at "X".....now I have added brakes, suspension, fixed interior,stereo......It is worth at least 4000 more....and i fell that prices on a whole has gone up...so,was your payout fair?
I am sure many of us are in the same boat when it comes to all the upgrades
Thanks Scott
