Default Choppy Drive

OK. Had the battery replaced over the weekend. Wondering now if the alternator is bad. Car starts fine, but idles really rough. And when I put it in drive, lose even more RPMs and gets choppier. Put on the gas and try to go over 30 mph and she dies.

I am thinking gremlins, poltergeist or something that a good amount of C4 will fix.

Ideas?

carb needs a tuning maybe a rebuild or replace. could be worn out points a weak coil theres many things that can do that.

Oh, and have had the carb adjusted a couple of times. Not the standard Mustang carb. A modified one with flame ignition? Does that sound right?
