Tied down.
I had to run a new fuel line since I put in a fuel cell (my car's tubbed). I put in a valve that I can flip and it stops fuel from getting to the motor. It just sucks when I forget to flip it back and I'm wondering why my car won't start.

A guy stopped by last week looking for some leads on a 65 or 66Mustang. His 65 with a 408 was stolen, stripped and abandoned. The thieves cut the brake pedal offto disable the anti-theft hook from the pedal to the steering wheel and then rolled the car to either a hook type tow truck or a flat bed and drove away. This was done sometimes between 2am and 4 am fromthe guy's driveway. If someone wants it, they will get it.

If someone wants it, they will get it.
The object is to at least make them work for it.
His car was probably in the driveway night after night, a sitting duck. Poor guy must be a sound sleeper.
As for the steering wheel, what I would do is pop it off and just stick it in the trunk. Unless they're watchig you it would take them while to find out where u put it, and htey could just give up all together.
Playing Devil's advocate, if I wanted that particular car without a steering wheel, I would bring my own.
There are at least two types of thief, the spur of the moment type which most anti-theft devices will deter, and the pro.As to the pros, your car is not their first. They are ready for anything.

FWIW, I had a '92 GT with a high buck alarm and it was parked right outside my bedroom window. Three months into ownership, I woke up to a missing car. FWIW2, I know a guy who had his Porsche locked up inside his locked garage. He came back from vacation to an empty garage. [:@]
The biggest step to secure your car is to make sure it is adequately insured. Beyond that, a kill switch and maybe a Lojack are about the best you can do.

Id turn it into a hover car, and just have it hover about10 feet off the groundwhen you arent in it. That way the only people who could steal it while its in hover mode are pro NBA players. But since they are pro they could get one for themselves.
