Default Maybe a good deal?

I went to a car show yesterday and a guy had a 67 coupe, very rusted, for sale for 600$ It has a 289 in it and a C4,I thought about buying it for the entire drive train for my 66 coupe so I can swap to a V8. Ya'll think that is a good deal?

Running, yes. The C-4 has a different shift pattern - better too. You will still need an 8 inchrear axle, drive shaft anda rebuilt front end. Keep the 5 lug wheels. Also, the 289 motor mounts and insulatorson a 67 are unique to 67 only so you will need ones from a 68 to 70. Do not throw the 67 mounts and insulators away - you will find them worth big bucks on e-bay.
