Which is more time consuming and meticulous installing a skin or a full rear quarter? i dont really know what to do on this passengers side here im debating on doing a quarter skin...

I did qtr. skins, wasn't too much of a task at all. Cut the old one off at the top edge of the body line, align the new one with some clamps, and butt weld the new qtr. at the seem between the panel and the top edge.

How much body filler did you use when you grinded down the welds ? because i want a clean quarter with as little body filler as possible

body shop did the filler...but when I say seam Im talking about sheetmetal to sheet metal tolerances. There wasn't much of a gap to fill in the first place, even after we ground down the welds. Just space the tacking out nice and evenly and double check your work/alignment as you go. I like to think that I ended up with "clean" enough qtrs.....
