Default '72 Mach 1 Question or two

Hey Guys! I just bought a '72 Mach 1 H, sight unseen from my best friend over in Omaha for $600. From what I have gathered, it has a fresh rebuild on a 351 converted to a 4 barrel. New tires, brakes, and he thinks it is an a/c model. He got it for free from a friend of his and has put zero time into it so is not very familiar with it. Had a new gas tank put in it 2 years ago. Water leaked into the tank so condition of the tank is unknown and the carb will need to be rebuilt. My friend had it running by putting fuel down the carb after unplugging the fuel line. Said the fuel pumped through the fuel line was brown. Whether that means rust or varnished gas, we'll see. He also said it has GT500 wheels(?) He said they were factory. I need educated on those. Also, I know it has some rust, thumb size hole in the floorboard under the back seat and lower quarters are shot. One door is dented so it'll need a skin. Who has the best prices on sheetmetal replacement sections? Any help would be appreciated. I'll get some pics posted and we'll enjoy a cyber-journey throughtherebuilding of a '72 Mach 1 together.

Sounds like a big project. I bought from NPD (National Parts Depot) mostly and was very satisfied. Sacramento Mustang were butt holes, so stay away from there. Good luck
