Default Fiberglass front end?

Has any body used a 1 piece fiberglass front end? I found one for my 69 fastback from mas racing products out of St.Paul Minnosota. I am going the g-machine route with it so this would lighten the front end. Is there any other places that have them for 69? What is the quality like? Pics would be great.
Thanks
Todd

As long as you know the fiberglass front end is intended for racing, not the street. Fitment on large FRP parts isnt a very high standard, and on racing cars doesnt need to be. It just isnt intended to be on a street car. If you'll check around, very few of us who have any FRP parts on our cars, are pleased with the fittment. Mustangs Unlimited(for example)doesnt garantee fittment, any of the FRP parts they sell. like the hood I paid $425 for. It looked OK in the show room, and wasnt till I had it on the car did I begin realize, how far off it was.
So just be aware, you'll be doing a lot of body work,or paying someone to do a lot of boy work when using FRP(FiberReinforcedPlastic=fiberglass) body panels. Especially racing parts that are made to represent a given panel, not duplicate it.

An old Chevy coupe came in the shop one day with a fiber front. Im sure it was alot lighter but it was definitly noticable that it wasnt on there perfectly..

Totally agree. I like fiberglass body parts too,but there is a limit when it comes to the car still looking nice. The one piece front ends never fit or look right.
I went with fiberglass pcs as well. I was tempted to do the front fenders, but again I wanted the car to look nice & strait.

I had a MAS glass hood on my 69 Super Bee, the quality was not that great. It was a "race only" part, very flimsy, but it SUPER light, I could take it on and off with one hand.
