The strut bushinhs they sent look WAY different than the ones I took off. Hopefully it is just a newer and better design, but will still work.

It is good that they took care of your issues quickly, hopefully I am as lucky.

hmm well if I'm not mistaken you don't have struts you have springs and shocks in the front and leafs in the back. Mine are sitting in there dong nothing at all and I wouldn't know where to put them lol. mine where large and slightly tapered at one end. not sure why they sent them but didn't realize they were for struts untill I opened them.

Springs and shocks, yeah, but the bar that connects the lower arm to the frame rail, my book called it a strut bar. The two bushings at the end behind the nut and washer are what I meant.

I had the same problem with them-rebuilt the fron t suspension and certain parts didnt tie into one another (old and new).I saved some of the old parts if you are interested in them-not sure if they are much better then the ones you are taking off.... Scott

I appreciate it, but I got the kit with everything new but the steering link. So once I get the correct parts, I will be straight.

mustangs+ is only about 30 min from place, and unless its a display car or owned by the proprieter, i've never seen another mustang in the parking lot, allot of imports though.each time i've requested a part, they've got it wrong. I've learned my lesson and give them the part number i want, instead of letting them look it up.

Well, I just got off the phone with them, they told me the parts are different. Not exactly a newsflash to me. They have the sleeve and the inner tie rod, but not the outer. It will not be in stock until Sept. 7th[:@]

They wanted me to pay shipping to send back the wrong ones, and for shipping the correct ones. No dice. I told him I already paid $90 for them to ship methe wrong parts, they can pay it now. Wouldn't have been a big deal if they would have fixed it a week and a half ago when I called them I had the wrong parts and they told me the parts were the same and not to worry. After a few minutes on hold, he agreed. So other than having to wait til the 7th, all will be ok.

Hmm I don't remember having any clearence problems, just used some wrenches and once had to use a breaker bar so I could torque down those nuts with the pin in them.

I can get my wrenches in there, but not a torque wrench. My dummy book says to torque to 75-100 ft lbs. Did you just crank yours til it was tight? That is what I am planning on I guess.
