We put 05+ rims on our 67 coupe. (about .25" difference than 00-04. I don't know the offset/backspacing on pre 00 Mustangs)In the front I installed 1.25 spacer and on the rear I installed 1.5 spacer. The tires are BFG KDW2 225x45x17
