I BOUGHT MY CAR!
We had it looked at by 3 people, all very knowledgeable of classic Mustangs. (I made sure, I promise)
There was no rust on any of the floorpans, fenders, cowl, andother important places, and all feedback pointed to it being a very, solid, awesome car.
We ended up paying $8,500 and it's in the shop right now getting rear shocks, a brake upgrade, a new radio, 3-point seatbelts, a new grill, armrests, new door and window handles, new belts and hoses, a new power steering pump, and a new radiator. And I think that's it? hah.
It's Sauterne Gold, but it'll be playmate pink someday.
I bought some general auto repair and mustang specific books and I'm learning a lot. Cleaning out the garage before it comes home, and I'm going to learn how to work on it eventually.
And wow, this post is probably pretty pointless since I don't have pictures yet, but I needed to share my excitement. No one I know cares very much.
I'm so happy

OK, first, relax............breath........ Now please tell us more info......say the year, fastback or coupe, etc. Also, what are your plans, restore, restomod, daily driver? Then perhaps we can feel some of the excitement.
Now we gotta teach Ya how to do some of that easy stuff yourself=more money to spend on the Stang
Easy stuff being at least; Radio, a new grill, armrests, new door and window handles, new belts and hoses, even the new rad isnt hard.
