67 seats.
so i want to get new seats and im thinking of getting the sport seats. do the sport seats still fold down like the bucket seats? so the ppl in the back can get out. and is there any modification needed so the new seats fit?
The seats we installed in our 67 GTAyou have to 'crank' them forward or back. Not as convienent as being able to lean them forward... might be something to think about IF people get in and out of the back much!
But for what it is worth in our 06 Mustangs one of my only complant is when ever you pull the lever to adjust the seat to let someone get in or out of the back you have to RE-adjust the seat to get it to where it was.....

I've been thinking about replacing the seats in my 67 also and right now I'm leaning towards the Procar Rally seats. I sat in them at a show one time and I fell in love with how comfortable they are. Here's a link if you're interested.

Just so you know, Summit has them for less, but you have to buy right and left separately.

and here is the adapter bracket:

totals out at 678.90 + shipping, if anyone else has them cheaper I'd like to know, 'cause I'm interested in them also.

I used 1987 Corvette seats (any 1984 - 1993 Vette seat will do same thing). They are very light weight, they will give you good support, they have many adjustments for driving position and they do have fold down movement for rear seat users.
I used Corvette seat rails and made own adapter to the floor.

As you see with new Mustang style upholstery not bad at all

And they are low enough to fit nicely in the interior
This is only one solution and there is many more where to choose.
