Third answer is the charmer. They are identical. 65-66 6 cylinder type are different than the 8 cylinder.

i always thought that the v8 spindles were made from a stronger steel in order to handle the higher block weight? i may be wrong... but i do know for a fact that they are identical in shape and the taper is the same too. I did a disc brake swap and i had ordered my kit for a 67 v8 when i really have a I6 but there is no fitment difference (at least not any noticable ones [8D]) ... they fit perfectly and work awesome too!

As Degins says,,,All spindlesare the same on a 67.... you do not need new spindles..... Save your cash!!!

As far as I know, no one reproduces early Mustang spindles, if you were to need them (you don't) you would have to get them used. We got our spindles for the 66 from ebay, $200.00 a pair...

He reproduces them with the Granada brakes but with a fixed geometry for the early cars.
Not bad price for brand new spindles.
If the spindles are the same you should be able to buy the bracket to attach the calipers to the spindles from NPD or another Mustang parts place.

id go the granada swap kit or the 71-73 spindles they are the thickest ones used on a early mustang and you can get almost any big brake set up out here.if you want baer brakes cheap http://www.mustangsteve.com/cobrabrakes.html the cobra brakes are pbr samething baer brakes really are just restamped.
