Default Leaf Spring bolt

Does anyone know the proper nut andbolt to use for the front of the leaf spring and if it can be bought at a hardware store? I am going to have to cut it out and the sorry assed kit I bought does not come with it apparently. I am starting to get fed up with it.

Had I of bought the individual kits to rebuild the suspension, they come with everything. But I guess when you buy the package to save some money, they take needed parts out like new nuts and bolts. [:@][:@][:@]

Thanks much.

Mine came with my kit from Laurelmountainmustang. From end to end is 6 3/4" long, so Id try for a 7" at the hardware store. I dont have thing to measure the diameter, but a 1/2" socket fit over the shaft snuggly, sooo... 1/2"x7"

Dammit, I went to 2 hardware stores and would you believe no one has a 5" cutoff wheel? They have grinding wheels and even mislabeled grinding wheels that say cutoff wheels, but no cut offs unless I buy in bulk...

LOL< and boy do bushings stink when you melt them with a wheel...

I went to 3 stores looking for the bolts, and no one had them. I guess I am gonna order them online. I have plenty of time. Seems like I cant catch a break. The front leaf spring bolts refuse to come out. Tried beating, banging, sawing, grinding, all to no luck. I will try again tuesday I guess.

Hey!!

I have two good stock ones that we took out a couple of days ago. I can send them to you if you want. I don't have the nuts, I used them on the new bolts, but they are standard 1/2" (or 7/16" ?)..

There is nothing wrong with them at all, can fed ex tuesday if you want, or even mon if fed ex runs on Labor Day...

JMD, that would be awesome!! Thanks much. I was gonna order them today, but now I wont. How much you want for them and shipping? Do you take pay pal?

Sorry for the delay in responding, I took the Mrs. out of town for a couple days.
