the old flat tappet is hard on the cam and they jump off the peak of the lobe at higher rpm thats why i love a roller cam alot smoother and no jumping off the peak of the lobe

Just a heads up, if you're running a manual trans you'll need an adapter for the block side clutch pivot. Late blocks dont have the cast in boss for the z-bar mount.

This is why I'm using dual valve springs:P

I'm running Comp's single Beehives on mine, had it out to 6,700+rpm without any trouble
