Default EXHAUST SETUP TONIGHT

HEY GUYS. IM GOING TO BUY MY HOOKER HEADERS AND FLOWMASTERS LATER. BUT I HAVE STILL HAVENT DECIDED ON WHAT HAS THE DEEPEST LOUDEST SOUND FOR THE SERIES. OVER THE DELTA 40S AND TYPICAL 40S WHAT SOUNDS LOUDER AND DEEPER? FLOWMASTER ADVERTISES THEIR NEW SUPER 44 MUFFLER AND IT READS QUOTE THAT THE NEW MUFFLERS ARE LOUDER AND DEEPER. WOULD YOU TAKE THEIR WORD?

HERES SOME CLIPS OF CLASSIC MUSTANGS WITH THE 44S. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

Either one sounds good, possibly the second one over the first one, but then again we could just be talking about camera quality at that point.

If you have to go with a "Blowmaster" muffler than go with the Original 40s.

But why not go with something like the Dynomax Race Bullets? They're dirt cheap, sound better, and not cost you TQ.

Well....FWIW

Here is 3 inch in/out 40 series with full tailpipes out the back of a 410c (right click save as)

Or see it from different angle on youtube

Sorry for the size on this one (its the raw)....but here is the same motor with dumps a year later (right click save as)
http://www.dodgestang.com/videos/DT%...20sideways.MPG

As you can see it does get louder and deeper with dumps, but inside the car is obnoxious and I think before axle dumps are a no-no on a regular tagged street car. However gives you an idea what a cleveland with a healthy cam can sound like with regular 40 series.

That sounds pretty good. It would have been funny if the guy would have hit the tree though.

If you check info from Flowmaster pages you can find this:

- Super 40 has that "deep powerful" sound of the original 40 series but with all the benefits of performance and low interior resonance from the "Delta Flow technology."

- 40 Series Delta Flow deflectors result in increased scavenging for better performance and reduced interior resonance over the standard 40 series with a nice growl outside the vehicle.

- Super 44 delivers a rich deep tone, an improved flow path radius, optimum internal flow and sound control, all created with Flowmaster’s Delta Flow® technology. It is the most aggressive, deepest sounding, highest performing four inch case street muffler we’ve ever built!

So super 44 is your choise?
