Hi, does anyone know if the alpine iva d300 or any other flip out monitor for that matter wouldwork in a 67 68 mustang? I know the deck will fit into the din but the problem is will the screen have any clearance issues with the trim above the radio area? Has anyone done or seen this deck install with any modifications?

You'll either have to run a huge spacer to be able to clear the dash, or you'll have to make a "pod" to put it in and run it that way. Like down below the dash directly below where the factory deck is installed, because in the factory location it just wont clear. I haven't seen it done, but I'm sure it can be.
