Default 71-73 Seat Frames

Anyone have an idea where you can get seat frame replacements or some kind of bolstering for the stock seat bottoms. My legs keep falling asleep because my *** sinks so low in the seat that my legs are over metal bars. BTW I am 5'10 and 190 so no fat **** jokes.

I'm 6'3" and 250 and I have the opposite problem after the restoration. The original seat foams in my car were not near as thick as the reproduction replacement pads. The end result was that I now sit3 inches higher and 2 inches forward. I wound up putting tilt column in the car to make entry and exit easier.

With this in mind , you might consider replacing the foams and the upholstery. Kind of an expensive proposition but ...

Good luck, Dean

You think the foam could do the trick? I mean when I sit down the seat bottom springs go down a bit. Below the frame as I said. No the upholstery looks like new. If anything I would add the foam but I am afraid all it will do is lift me higher but still cut the circulation off to my legs. We will see. My car came with tilt. That is a cool feature.
