I like shorty headers because I think that they are a good compromise between performance and fit-ability,,, with these, working under the car is not always such a challenge, and "interference" with other components is seldom an issue.

Could be that I am just lazy though....

personally, I've had nothing but the best results with doug thorley, or thorley headers. never had an issue with fit or leaks. . . never. As for jethot, awesome stuff! you will absolutely notice the difference in the underhood temps, and makes a big differencecooling the eng downif you need to wrench on it.

I decided against shorties after fighting with getting the stock manifolds unbolted.. It was a pain!
